Vicious Cycle of Endless Modern Work

Has anyone else gotten tired of waking up every morning, going to the same job, and slowly becoming a victim of depression? I think most of us just hate our jobs. No matter how many hours you put in, you just can’t get enough. I can feel that we are trapped in a vicious cycle of endless modern work just to survive. We are stuck in survival mode. Most of us have lost all hope of actually living our lives.
Companies are greedy. They only care about their profits. Wages are stagnant. Inflation is on the rise, thanks to the war in the Middle East. No matter how many times you try to budget or how many apps you use for household budgeting, we all know we still can’t make enough to live our lives. Most of us have become slaves to our work. We have become more like mechanical devices. We have lost the art of living like human beings. It’s really sad. I can guarantee you that it’s not entirely our fault (maybe it is). We elect incompetent and inefficient governments to run the country.
Over the past 10 to 12 years, Canada has been completely destroyed. Our bureaucracy is killing economic growth. Instead of helping our own people, we are giving taxpayers’ money to other countries like Ukraine. A decade ago, nobody thought of doing any side hustle or taking on a second or third job, but now one full-time job is not enough to pay the monthly bills. Young Canadians who used to rely on summer jobs can’t even get them anymore because they’ve been replaced by immigrants. Even summer jobs are slowly vanishing. The board members of top companies are basically running the country. They force politicians to make policies that benefit their corporations. Most politicians are actively working for rich corporations instead of the public — but who cares about the public?
Our debt is out of control. The housing market is in crisis. The social fabric of the country is crumbling. The private sector is disappearing. We imported millions of people from around the world, and as a result, real wages are falling. All of this is a man-made disaster. It happened because our politicians didn’t put the interests of Canadians first. Now people are struggling. They’ve been handed a punishment for working their vicious jobs until they die!
Good luck with this kind of death sentence!
