Over the past couple of weeks, the crisis in the Middle East has gone from bad to worse. Israel and the US have declared war on Iran. The stated reason for going to war is that Iran is building nuclear weapons. Yes, they allege that once Iran gets its hands on nuclear weapons, it will nuke other Gulf countries.
Their (Israel’s and the US’s) rationale is very simple: they repeatedly claim that they launched these military operations to protect the Middle East and safeguard the interests of the peace-loving community. My question is this: Is it really so? Or is it about gaining control over Iran’s oil and gas production? Or is it because Israel pressured the United States into war? Or is it all of the above?
My intuition tells me that the US getting involved alongside Israel in a war with Iran is a terrible idea. I believe the US should not have gotten involved in military operations against Iran. Many years ago, the US invaded Iraq (and other countries) under the excuse that Iraq was building “weapons of mass destruction.” We all know that no such weapons were found. The US spent trillions of dollars, and the Middle East is still a mess as a result.
Now Israel is saying that it attacked Iran because Tehran poses a major threat to the whole world. Israel dragged the US into this bloody war. I have said it many times on my X account (@sekhrikush) that America made a huge mistake by going to war against Iran. It’s a huge mistake by President Donald Trump (the man I support). It will cost Republicans the midterms and eventually the presidential election in 2028.
According to top US counterterrorism official Joe Kent—who just recently resigned from his post—he said: “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.” The killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has led to even more chaos in Iran.
Don’t get me started on the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait is effectively closed or severely disrupted due to the ongoing 2026 Iran war. Oil and gas prices are skyrocketing. Because of this unjustified war, common people are suffering—they are paying the price. Hundreds of innocent civilians are being killed in this pointless war.
I am not saying that the Iranian people didn’t suffer under their own leaders. Of course, anyone who questioned the Iranian government was either thrown in jail or killed. I feel the pain of the Iranian people who have endured many atrocities at the hands of their tyrannical government.
We cannot ignore the fact that US intelligence agencies had no clear information on whether the Iranian government was actually going to use a nuclear bomb against its neighboring countries. If we had already destroyed their nuclear sites, then why did we still go to war with Iran? We don’t know all the answers, but one thing is clear: the US hasn’t learned from its past mistakes.
I still firmly believe that the US shouldn’t have gone into Iran, and I don’t trust Israel either—they have done many shady things. One thing I want to make clear: saying things against Israel does not mean you are against Jews. Israel needs to be held accountable for all the bad and evil things it has done in Gaza.
My only advice to the US is to get the hell out of Iran. Focus on America. Don’t let the Democrats win the midterms, and pass the SAVE Act bill.

I started writing down one thing at the end of every day — what I actually managed to do. Not a to-do list, not plans. Just one small win. It’s surprising how quickly it shifts your perspective.
