Over the past few months, Trump’s approval ratings have dropped sharply. Many MAGA voters can’t even comprehend what led Trump to betray his campaign promises. Just a few months ago, his approval ratings were skyrocketing. Then he decided to bomb Iran — and that was pretty much the beginning of his downfall. In this post, I’ll break it down.
Every MAGA supporter was rooting hard for Trump. We all thought that once he got back into power, everything would finally be fine. The first year of his administration was incredible: zero crossings at the border, inflation coming down, gas prices dropping, and record levels of investment across the board. Tariffs were showing their magic.
Then Benjamin Netanyahu entered the picture. He is the one mainly responsible for all the mess in the Middle East. All he wants is to use American military power to dominate the region — he doesn’t even care about the lives lost.
Not only did Trump supporters want him to win, but Benjamin Netanyahu and many rich Israeli elites did too. They poured millions of dollars into his campaign against Kamala Harris. Now Trump is simply fulfilling his duties to his boss in Israel. He doesn’t want to disappoint his donors. Netanyahu knew Biden would never give him the green light to bomb Iran, so he waited for Trump. For the past 10 years, Netanyahu has been telling everyone that Iran is on the verge of building a nuclear weapon. He pressured every sitting president to bomb the shit out of Iran, but no one really listened.
Since President Trump works more for Israeli interests than for the interests of the USA, he decided to go to war with Iran. There is no military solution to this conflict. Credible reports from the CIA have stated that Iran wasn’t even pursuing nuclear weapons. Trump ignored his own people and listened to Bibi instead. Now the Strait of Hormuz is closed. Trump knows he has badly fucked up the situation, but being Trump, he refuses to take responsibility. Instead, he blames other countries for the mess he created in the Middle East, saying things like “if you want oil, come and take it” while demanding they open the strait.
Domestic inflation is now soaring because Trump didn’t listen to his own people. He didn’t listen to his MAGA supporters. He keeps claiming Iran was close to making a nuclear bomb, even though the CIA has confirmed multiple times that it would take Iran years — if not longer — to build one. He ignored his own intelligence agencies. Now everyone is feeling the heat from this fabricated inflation. People are struggling and dying because of it. There is no military solution to this problem — only a political one. And that political solution is simple: the USA must stop listening to Netanyahu and make a fair deal with Iran.
